CISPR 11 is the International Standard for electromagnetic emissions (disturbances) from Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) Equipment. The official title of the standard is “Industrial, Scientific, and Medical Equipment – Radio-Frequency Disturbance Characteristics – Limits and Methods of Measurement.”
Group 1 equipment is that in which the RF energy generated is necessary for its internal functioning; Group 2 equipment is that in which RF energy is intentionally generated and/or used for material inspection, analysis or treatment, and spark erosion.
